We've never played this slow, it's become a parody of how we used to play.

We used to zip the ball about and move the other team around.

We were a fantasticly quick back-to-front team from 2017-18 up to as recently as 2021-22.

Yes, then teams turned up with their deep set banks of 4 refusing to come out except on the break then we had to find other ways of moving them out. Thats changed a bit now as they think we are vulnerable.

No it doesn't. If anything you're suggesting that what we've won over 8 years is down to a slower possession game. Whilst that's been an important constituent of our style we've had many facets to our game that have contributed to our success.

Saks’s injury is a big blow to Arsenal as they would be the closest rivals to Liverpool. I was listening to ratface’s analysis of Liverpool’s current form and he was saying how much they can adapt to a game, play different styles within a game. I actually agree with him. Slot is making Klopp look like an average coach and has taken this team to a higher level. They look very impressive with good depth on the bench. The midfield has so much quality. I could easily see them winning two if not, three trophies this year.

Give over. As annoying as Klopp was he was a very good manager for Liverpool who would have won a lot more if it wasn't for Pep. Slot is doing a good job so far with Klopp's squad, a bit like Pellegrini did with Mancini's squad. For Slot to get regarded as a top manager he needs to develop a squad in his making and be successful for several years.

We'll start to see what Slot is all about when he has to replace Salah Van Dijk Alison and TA Arnold.
