Bottom line is take RVP away and we are way in front. If we come second because of RVP's contribution, well there's absolutely nothing we can do about it other than sign 2 world class strikers in the summer in a move to do what RVP is currently doing for United. It is what it is.

with players like rooney hernandaz and welbeck i think united would cope handy enough in getting goals if anything happend to rvp

Everyone seems to thnk they're going to implode like last season. Not a chance that is happening again. We need to wing games like tonight and slowly close the gap. We're not making up 7 points in 4 games at the end if the season again.

dont be to down after tonights game there is never a script written in football especially after the way we won the title last year, funny though i always had that united home game down for the 3 points well before the match was played a bit of a banker i supose because i new we would win that game its the same again this season i'm taking the win at the swamp and adding the points now so in my strange mind we are only 1 point adrift tonight although they do have a game in hand so let them win that tomorrow they then will be 4 points up on us, beat liverpool and they lose in london its back to 1 point 'no games in hand'

just bank the points from the derby its easy stuff, but lose the derby and were dead and buried

The issue is the strikers dont matter what we do at the rags

If we put in a similar half arsed performance against Dippers and Chelski both teams whom like tonight will be up for it all will be gone

I agree with you about the strikers. Been saying that all season from virtually the first game.

But that means we have room to improve, and there's over a 1/3 of the season still to go

7 points with 14 games to go is no more than a healthy lead that can crumble in a week in April let alone January

I thought tonight would be difficult and so it proved. We didn't lose, and at the weekend Utd go away from home, and it could be back down to 5 points again. Berbatov didn't shown up at Old Trafford in the FA Cup, but I think he may shoot them down at the Cottage on Saturday. Better Utd teams have dropped points there before
