The Top Five Race 2024-25 (poll added)

One thing we have over all the other team we’re in this race with, is that we know how to perform under pressure and get wins when we need to go on a run as it gets to crunch time later in the season.

We just need to make sure this bad run doesn’t leave us too far behind.

I'd say we're under quite a bit of pressure at the moment and not handling it to well. But I take your point.

This is concerning. We are at a risk of ending up like the likes of United this season. Looking at these, we are possibly going to lose all of them, maybe except for Brugge IF we improve.

Might be able sneak a draw in here and there.

Can see Liverpool, Chelsea, both doing well in European competitions so maybe that opens the spot for an extra place in England which means 5 teams Qualify

On current form absolutely not. At this rate Top 10 would be some achievement. Unless the management and players pull their fingers out of their arse and stop wining about injuries and not having my players and stop making ridiculously amateur mistakes we will continue to sink like a stone.

we need and attack that consist's of several players not just 1 who couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo at this moment in time.

Hopefully we've "done a United": turned a corner. Definite signs of life after the Leicester game, and we had some luck as well - at last!
It's incredible looking back on this last 8 weeks or so that the only other match we managed to win was at home to Forest, and since then they've won all 5 games to jump into 2nd place. We're 6 points behind them. I doubt that they'll stay there but, equally, I doubt we'll get top 4 unless we get some quality players in during January as we're still looking very fragile.
"The team that knew how to get wins under pressure..." is yet to reappear. Fingers crossed, it'll be reassembled very shortly as our confidence returns.

Need to build on the 3 points yesterday with the fixtures coming up. February looks tough with Arsenal, Newcastle, Liverpool then Spurs on the schedule. Hopefully the squad will be in a much better place by then.

Well back in touching distance now and we aren’t even playing well yet.

We played better in some of the losses in that winless run than we played against Leicester and today, but the ball just hit the net whereas in that run of defeats just wouldn’t.

Funny old game, football.

I predict that both City+Newcastle will finish in the Top4.

Without any really good signings(2 min) I think top 4 will be candlepool, arse, Newcastle and Chelsea.
Candlepool win the league easy enough which is tragic.

5th on is hard to call, Forest apart not much consistency in any other team.

Then it’s 2 from Us/Chelsea/Newcastle/Villa

I think the others will drop off.

I will vote at the end of the transfer window, we are where i expected/hoped we would be after Rodri`s injury, and i expect us to drop 2 places without new arrivals.
