Chelsea might win their next two games which sets them up nicely but their fixtures becomes rather hard after that.
same for Newcastle they also have a game in hand dont forget. they will beat Leicester next and then rags at home too and possibly the postponed game vs Palace too. but if they mess up any of these that can be costly.

also quite a few games still between these sides, we play Villa and Brighton, Villa is hosting Forest this weekend, Chelsea still to play Forest away and Newcastle away. these games will largely decide it. and some of them still play vs Arse or dippers too.

Forest obviously brutally close to CL imo its about 65 points that will be enough for 5th and Forest is just 8 points away from that. can they do 8 points from their last 24? would be a surprise now if they couldnt. they will finish even above 5th possibly.

Don't think it will be that close, think we'll be a few points clear of 6th.About 65 ish points should get 4th and 5th.

big round for Villa.. everyone ahead of them dropped points. I am sure it also gives Newcastle enough reason to win tomorrow.

3rd Forest on 57 points and 6th Villa on 51 points .

picture is clear 3 teams of Forest, Chelsea, City, Villa, Newcastle will be in CL.
which three is yet to be decided.

have to say if I wasnt City supporter I would say neither Chelsea or City deserves given based on squad strength or financial firepower both these should be out of sight.

We don’t deserve a champions league spot, end of. This team would struggle anyway so what is the point of qualifying?

True although Palace and Villa have bigger fish to fry I think and while their managers will demand the expected effort it’d be only natural for their players to subconsciously hold back a bit.

Everton was always a nightmare even when we were in our prime, I’d settle for a point right now

i think we will be ok certainly for 5th with the others having fixtures with each other, the results could have been a lot worse for us over the weekend,Newcastle tomorrow so if the lose il see todays result as a point gained,,there away to leicester,didnt realise so not much chance of that
 
Dont think we will end up in the top 5. 2 PL wins in the last 6 and you need goals to win games and we do not have any goals throughout the squad.
Huffed and puffed and needed a howler to beat the awful Leicester side and created nothing much again today and a bang average Rag team had 13 attempts go our 9.
Just cannot see us winning enough games needed with our lack of threat up front

Fuck me the internet has a lot to answer for.

As I understand it, according to this season’s rules the teams who accrue enough points to finish in the top 5 deserve a CL place.

We’re currently fifth. Are you following so far ?

Just for entertainment purposes though, could you enlighten me as to which teams do deserve a CL spot
