They’ll be a lot better at their own stadiumIf Slot puts out a shit side again I can see an Arsenal win

Yes that’s right. He won’t pay for petrol. He's a tight git, who won't pay for petrol.
Coefficient trumps I think, mate.Does how high we finish determine which pot we get in CL draw or does our co efficient in europe still keep us in pot 2 this time

I'm looking up the table rather than down now too.Bit of a weird dynamic really.
If we want to finish above both Chelsea and Newcastle then a draw is the optimal result for us.
If we’re just worried about securing top 5, we want Newcastle to put Chelsea to the sword and ruin their GD in the process. We only need to finish above two out of four teams. That happening would mean Chelsea and Forest can’t get above 68 because they have to play eachother. So unless Villa go unbeaten it’s very likely that just beating Southampton is enough.
Personally, I’m all in on chasing 2nd now so hoping for a draw.
They're not going to want to lose at home, I'd settle for a shite 0-0 draw.He won’t.
Lesson learnt.
And it’s at Anfield.
All down to coefficients. Once you’ve failed to win the title, final domestic league position is irrelevant in terms of seedings in next season’s CL league phase.Does how high we finish determine which pot we get in CL draw or does our co efficient in europe still keep us in pot 2 this time
The probability is that if any of the teams from 2 to 7 win all their remaining games they will get top 5It's in our hands that's the main thing.
So you’re saying all our remaining fixtures are must win gamesThey don’t need to self destruct. They could draw two and win one of their lst three games and we’ll finish above them if we win all of ours.
If we beat Saint and newcastle beat Chelsea we are home and dry
Not correct at all. Chelsea arent the only threat. Villa can finish on 69. Let’s say Newcastle and forest beat chelsea and win their other matches, theycan both finish 70 and higher.Correct, as Chelsea would need to win all their remaining games and that would mean Forest lose another one.

Cheslea would be 7th and wed be 6th on 67. 70 is the magic number
Its a stretch but we have think that way and pep will have the players in a must win all 3 mindset.
Ideal for me:
1 Liverpool
2 City
3 Newcastle
4 Forest
5 Villa
6 Arsenal
7 chelsea
I'm not sure Liverpool will be too upset at not being involved in the greatest 2nd to 6th place race in Premier League history. This will go down as the best finish from 2nd to 6th in premier league history and the 2 not in it are scousers and the rags loving it.
I'm not sure if in 10yrs time anyone involved with any club will remember "the best finish from 2nd to 6th in Premier League history".This will go down as the best finish from 2nd to 6th in premier league history and the 2 not in it are scousers and the rags loving it.
