The Torino - Man City link....

At min. 0.55 your hart's flag exposed in our end Curva Maratona and the chant dedicated to him yesterday against fiorentina.

And at the end of the game a kid invaded the pitch to celebrate the winning and hart took him in arms so the the stewards calmed down and the kid could run back to the end safe. That was great. Here is the video

Great stuff and thanks for sharing mate. Looks like Hart is enjoying himself over there and has already built up a rapport with the fans.

Just out of interest, how do you think you will do this season? The impression I get is that Torino are at last in a good position to challenge for a Champions League place.

We had a bad start I think due to the new playing system totally changed with the new trainer (from very defensive to extremely offensive) and to the injuries of Belotti and Ljaic (our best players). Now they recovered and we collected two straight great wins against Roma and Fiorentina that are strong teams. I think Champions League place would be a dream but honestly I don't think is possible unless we do something like Leicester did last year in Premier League, considering that in Italy we have two direct places and the 3rd goes to the preliminary game. It's more realistic to say that we can battle for Europa League qualification and I would sign now to reach that goal.
About Hart, yes is correct to say he is enjoying himself. And he is a big inspiration for other players, being a player who played for years in a top team and decided to restart from the beginning in a team that, unless having a strong history, nowadays is a growing team coming from two decades of poor results with many years spent in serie b. We really love and appreciate the man and I hope that knowing that he is in a place where is so much loved is something that also pleases you City fans that will anyway always be his home.

Some them bastards attacked Man City fans including women and kids with bottles at about 10 am in the morning before the game against Hamburg
Sorry I'm late with posting, only just clocked yours.

I'm presuming you're talking about that planned attack in the square. The city fans were mostly just sat down suffering from hangovers. It wasn't just bottles though, a home made Kung fu star came whizzing over as well. As I said it was a planned attack and we weren't even playing them.

It's wrong to generalise and lump all fans together but I treat people as I find them. The Hamburg fans were brilliant that whole weekend, the St Pauli were cunts.

I attended our pre-season tour in Italy in 1992 if my memory serves me right and we stayed in Lake Garda near where City based themselves, we played Torino & Verona on that tour along with another team i've forgotten. One thing I do remember is the tight relationship we had with the Torino fans over there, I'm not sure how it started but it was very evident on that tour there was a connection with the club and the flying of the flag supported that.

Vicenza @Danamy and I think Cremonese

That's the ones, you've got a better memory than me to be fair, in my defence though it was a heavy 2 weeks
