Spurs defended the penalty area really well, but they were playing with fire surrendering the territory to Utd in the 2nd half. I was waiting for a penalty for Utd, but this time it never happenedRay78 said:They did well and despite the second half performance.

Excellent result. I was quietly confident before the match but didn't want to jinx it. First half we played really well, United didn't get a sniff. Second half we were on the ropes a bit but defended well bar a few dodgy moments from walker. We needed a bit of luck considering the amount of times they have screwed us over in the past.
Gallas, verts and sandro were brilliant I thought.
Rvp looked like he was struggling a bit, good news for Chelsea and City!

The cracks have begin to show with the player mutiny that has rocked the club at it's very core. AVB has an impossible job from here..... :)
Terrific first half performance and holding on for dear life in the second. Was an unbelievably nervy game to watch for me but was fantastic. For the neutrals it must have been a very enjoyable game.
Not seen a victory at Old Trafford in my lifetime. Something was different about the players mentality today. Still buzzing about it now....

I'd worry if Mancini celebrated a win like they had won a cup in a league game!
We won 1-6 last season Mancini just walked over to sir KUNT and shook his hand! That's how you do it.. It just looks small time if you celebrate like that! Great win though for spurs though
