I brought a similar stat in the Wenger thread. In the last 6 years Liverpool have spend 95 million odd more on players than Arsenal. Arsenal may have had a higher wage bill, but it's worth noting. It annoys me when Liverpool fans claim to be a 'real club' than are not owned by a billionaire lol.

There will be no European football for Spuds next season at this rate, the Rags will pip them for 6th place. A huge blow for the new manager as the standard of potential signings will be restricted. Louis Van Gaal will not necessarily be the answer, he will want to spend, but they no longer have the assets to hand to raise capital like they did with Bale.

They need a leader in the middle of the pitch. Good players, but they are not a team

The Wailing Wall is in danger of collapsing under the weight of THFC6061's prayers.

Hard to know where to start with a Spurs isn't it. Ok, Liverpool are in terrific form but that was just downright appalling from Spurs. There was one moment when the commentator said something like "that just sums up the difference in desire between the two teams" and he couldn't have been more right. I assume they'll have some games at home that they almost 'can't lose' but other than that they look beaten before they step on the pitch. It's seems pretty clear that Tim Sherwood hasn't brought them together and got them playing, at least for each other, if not for him.
