The Tottenham Thread 13/14 (continued)

Ugh, shipping 11 to one team in a season is tough to take. What a team though; best I've seen at WHL for many a year and that includes RM. Would City fans agree their games against us have been two of their better performances? Seems that way to me and makes things a little easier to bear.

Have to comment on the big decisions of course. Thought the offside, pen, and sending off all could have gone either way and each one was a marginal decision. Would have been nice if they had all gone our way but only a very, very small chance that even that would have changed much. Bentaleb's antics obviously should have been a penalty.

Impossible to see beyond City for the title now and I'd probably go as far as saying a domestic treble seems likely. European success maybe a step too far this year but wouldn't even rule that far. Kind of sickening, but also impressive!

Hope Aguero not too bad, he's a joy to watch.

I agree that they are some of our better performances but I think it's more a case of your open style suiting our style perfectly. Easy for me to say but I wouldn't get too disheartened about last night, Tim Sherwood was right we are far and away the best team in the league and have done that to most sides we've played this season, including Arsenal ;)

If I was a Spurs fan I'd treat it as a one off game, forget about the result and worry about beating everyone else. We will take points off your top 4 rivals as well.

Guess who did this.

I think since Sherwood took charge he has them playing much better football but they look vulnerable against stronger opposition. They were very poor in the cup at arsenal and didn't really get in to the game last night whilst away at Swansea they were superb.

Can we have that geezer back please...just for today at least

He avoided this place like the plague whenever we beat Spurs. He only ever came on giving it the big un before the game or if they won.
