I find it difficult to believe Levy has agreed to spend nearly £60M with more players touted to come in yet they he has not had assurances of the Bale sale to Madrid. My money's on him leaving before the window shuts.

Ha ha, I understand THFC6061's reluctance to accept the inevitable but surely he's clever enough to realise Spurs aren't making it public in order to keep their purchase prices as low as possible.

Seems like that Lamela deal could possibly be gaining speed. I still don't think Roma will sell him but if they do, Tottenham will be stacked.

If true (and granted, it's a bloody big if, it would be a fantastic signing for us).

Thanks - I was looking forward to seeing City too on ITV 4 last season but they never made it that far.

Well so far I've been right about Paulinho, Chadli, Soldado and Capoue.

On the other hand, I was wrong about David Villa, although he did actually agree terms with Spurs.

There's also an offer to AS Roma pending for Erik Lamela & Miralem Pjanic.
