Where's the Tel Aviv gobshite tonight?
Surely he will be here soon with a flowchart in lurid colours to show us that Spuds actually won?

Re: The Tottenham Thread 13/14 part 2.

I need a chart identifying the correlation between the number of games played and number of goals scored in open play so far this season for Spurs.

I'm not too downhearted about the result, yes we lacked a bit of creativity perhaps but it's the first time in many years we've had that much possession v arsenal. I don't think arsenal could have played much better but I think we could have. As some have said once the team gels I think we'll do well, liverpool have shown with a bit of patience and decent signings you can change for the better. We still have creativity in Lennon, Townsend, Chadli, eriksen and lamela so I'm not too overly concerned and won't knee jerk over a result away at arsenal

Ive always loved Dawson but he looked out of his depth at times today.

Yes, keep on 'Gelling,' by the end of the season you'l look like Elvis Presley and Gene Vincent.

I hope so because when I woke up my misses said I looked like a bad mick jagger

-- Sun Sep 01, 2013 6:07 pm --

Your last sentence speaks volumes to me, one of the most important positions on the pitch, yet one of your weakest.

Maybe Chiriches (sp?) can resolve that for you?

Hopefully! There is kaboul too, so I'm not that worried about the Centre halves. The full backs are the weakest of our squad In my opinion
