Levy doesn't mess about giving new improve contracts to players who are making an impact

The key is to give your players low deals and tell them to earn their way up.
Townsend was on something like 6k a week.

Now he can piss arse about till April, put in a few blinders to get in the England team and then piss arse about for 2 years, get in the England team on rep and sit on his nice new paycheck. Worth those 9 loans.

Damn; I missed it. Ah well. What a shame. Never mind.

Interesting stuff regarding Lloris, The only mistake I can think of is the Liverpool game but that was mainly Walker's fault.

Townsend's signed a new deal!
AWESOME!

Who says you need Champions League football to attract 2nd tier international players?

Not me.

Nope! Just settling down to watch a repeat of grand designs - far more interesting!

Townsend's on 15k apparently, What a shocking deal from him and his agent.

£15,000 a week for the next four years is a guaranteed £3.12m for Andros Townsend before any bonuses and sponsorship deals are added.

That's not too shabby really.

Are you really telling me his agent´s not a total spunk bubble? Come on , double that´s hardly breaking the fookin bank for England´s saviour. How much are Zidane and fookin Wellwank on then?

This is as good an example as you'll get of the way Spurs manage their finances.

We pay decent wages but refuse to be extravagant.

In fact, our £90m annual wage bill is £53m less than Arsenal's, who only finished a point ahead of us last season and £29m less than Liverpool, who finished 11 points and two places behind us.
