That link has no proof that Sandro is slower than Barry, it is simply a record of top speed hit. Football is often not about sprinting over long distances (sorry Theo), it's a matter of positioning, agility and accelaration (I really can't spell that word) over short distances. Barry and Sandro are both pretty good at this, Make what you want of that.

lol so he is as slow and ponderous as he looks. That really is pretty slow though.

Why would i have watched a chubby brazillian spurs player do martial arts or care tbh. If they were going in for a ufc match the better fighter may be of interest, as thats not the case it doesn't really matter.

A bit petty to claim it doesn't prove this and that and then make a "my gran is tougher than your gran" comment.
He may be as fast as greased lightning but if he never shows any pace it doesn't really matter tbh.

In seriousness I do think Barry is a good player, he was made out to be a bit of a scapegoat after the world cup when in that system it wouldn't have mattered whether it was Barry/Sandro/Busquets/De Rossi playing there, none would have stood a chance, especially against Germany. If you mean Sandro against Micah in a 100m sprint then no, but I'm pretty sure we're talking about football here, in which I would fancy Sandro against Micah, it would be an interesting watch as both are quality players.

I'm not sure what I've said to provoke the classic keyboard warrior puberty line, but it's hurt me real deep. I'll think twice before posting a thought out opinion with the likes of your razor sharp wit around.

I've never thought of Sandro being fast but not slow either.

Besides, pace isn't everything. Just look at Sheringham how he used to play.

Players with blistering pace, Walcott, Lennon and Abonghalor have been really inconsistent and mediocre on many occasions

I think players who lack pace have to be quicker up in their head. Huddlestone has the turning circle of the QE2 and the engine of a Robin Reliant but an excellent passer and comfortable on the ball.

My first post was for discussion purposes, with no side whatsoever. However, for your reply you used the same phrase in a condescending and frankly pre-pubescent manner. You then follow it up with a "My dad's harder than your dad" remark which, even in jest, marks you out as kindergarden rather than thought out.

The sarcasm you habitually use on blues puts you on very thin ground, you wouldn't dare speak to them in this manner in real life so I guess that makes you the keyboard warrior. How about a well thought out response to the substantive rather than the 'in denial' post that you actually typed?

Spuds fans in overrating player shocker. Sandro hasn't played 30 games in the Prem yet and doesn't have a full Brazillian cap in a poor Brazil team by usual standards.
