The Tottenham Thread (Merged)

Towards the back end of November, prior to Spurs' home game against Villa, I pointed out that they were worth a decent each-way punt for the title at enormous odds of 66-1. Like a prick I didn't lump on and now they're down to single figure odds.

IMO they're genuine challengers and have been for months. However, they do have some difficult away games to negotiate and 'Arry's court case could prove an unwelcome distraction regardless of the outcome.

The game at ours on the 22nd should be a cracker.

On form they are the best team. Parker has been brilliant anytime i've watched them play.

I genuinely think that they're favourites for the title now.

They always seem to up their games against the big teams and I can see them beating us, especially as we'll be without Kompany and Yaya.

Having had a look at their last 8 games I can see them winning every one of them quite easily, whereas we're not in the same form we were 6/7 weeks ago and we have the small thing of a Manchester derby to negotiate at the end of the season.

They've shot up a few gears this year and are far more consistant. If Modric hadn't fucked them about at the start of the season then i'd say they'd be top now.

Looks like loaning them Adebayor will turn out to be a huge mistake by us. (Thought this at the time we confirmed it was happening, why couldn't we farm him off abroad somewhere?)

The cockney fcuker is on Talksport right now. Switched off I hate his voice and is getting arse licked off Durham regards Spurs would be top if the league started after the transfer window shut.

While perfectly true, I think it's a rather idiotic stat to trot out.

The League season didn't start after the transfer window had closed.

And if the Queen had balls, she's be the King.

Utd are favourites in my eyes followed by City then Spurs. No one can match the strength of Utd's squad which will become more and more important as the season goes on

.

Start of the season Spurs were 200-1. Liverpool were 9-1.

Crazy odds.

I don't think Spurs will win it but hopefully they'll be up there.

As I said before though it would be criminal if United won it. Considering how mediocre they are. It would be crazy if City or Spurs messed up and let them win it.

Bullshit. On form no one can touch us. 6-1

I hate spurs, but they just aren't slipping up. I honestly thought tricky away trips against Norwich, west brom and Fulham would have been difficult but to be fair to them they have breezed past most teams with a few injuries too. they will be a huge threat at our place. Most of their games have been at home though vs weak teams. They have wolves at home this weekend too haha. YCNMIU
