as the bookies seem to be suggesting (huge money going on it, apparently)...

that would be absolutely terrible news for us.

Why terrible/? sour Alex is the prems best ever manager and hes playing catchup..albeit 2 points but still catchup..

Re: if Mourinho goes to Spurs in the summer...

Mourinho would be the only man to keep Bale, Modric, Sandro etc. If Mourinho could then bring in a top striker like Cavani or Falcao (get rid of Adebayor) and a top defender like Subotic or Hummels (get rid of Gallas, Bassong, Kaboul). Then the sky will be the limit for the Tiny Totts.

Re: if Mourinho goes to Spurs in the summer...

If Harry ends up with the England Job , I think Spurs will pull out all stops to get the current Swansea manager.

You heard it hear first.

Can't see it. What experience has he got at the highest level? He was sacked from Watford not long back after a brief period AND a lot of the credit for Swansea should go to Roberto Martinez. Owen Coyle was bigged up last season and where is he now? Fighting relegation with Bolton. Hodgson was promoted to Liverpool on the back of Fulhams Europa campaign and flopped.

Some Spurs fans have been sporadically calling for Redknapp's head, after all he's done for them.

Re: if Mourinho goes to Spurs in the summer...

Can't see it, not enough money and a big ask. Can't see the self styled "best attacking team in the country" wanting someone who is famed only for his at times defensive way of setting up.

Re: if Mourinho goes to Spurs in the summer...

Bookie odds are just a reflection of what people are betting. They play by the numbers. Hiddink was overwhelming favourite to manage us last summer.

Have I imagined this but did he not turn down the number 2 job at City?

We wanted him and he had a good grooming under Jose.

Seriously what had Harry done at the highest level bar an F A Cup with the best run you could wish for in 30 years of management FFS.

One decent season with West Ham AND SENT Portsmouth to oblivion.

He is a perfect fit for them , Swansea play the best football in the premiership ( Just ask Mancini (LOL) ).

When was the last time Spurs has a real high profile manager with sustained success at the highest level in top leagues throughout Europe of England.

Pardew got the flick from Southampton and the way things are at present its not inconceivable that they will finish fourth and I don't rate him that highly tbh.

Got Spurs to the QF of the Champions League.

Remind me has Mancini ever got past the Quarter Finals in the Champions League?

-- Wed Feb 08, 2012 5:31 pm --

Have you watched Real Madrid this season? Played fantastic football AND have scored more goals than Barcelona.

That bloke could turn out to be a top drawer manager. He has Swansea playing some lovely football. Thing is though; he hasn't done at a top 4 type club, and would a club like Spurs be prepared to take a massive (sorry!) gamble on him?

Have you seen Kaboul play this season?!

Mancini already in 18 months has an identical trophy cabinet domestically in England as Harry the wheeler dealer has in 30 odd years of management.

I am not saying that Mancini will lead us to the promised land year upon year and I hope our next manager improves upon what he sets up and I am not saying Harry doesn't have his strengths either but give me a break , Mancini is the best manager we have had at this club since our return to the premiership and by some way.

Seriously "in the know" I can see you leading the Harry for City brigade next season and good to you.

Rodgers will do more for Spurs with the same squad than Harry would anyday of the week.

Re: if Mourinho goes to Spurs in the summer...

Mancini is our 'breakthrough' manager.

Total rubbish. How can u possibly know that? What has Rodgers achieved? Most of the credit for Swansea should go to Martinez & Sousa.

Could Mancini win the FA Cup with Portsmouth? Mancini has had more money to spend on players than Redknapp ever has.

Some had Tevez at 1.40 to go to AC Milan during January and as much as 3.50 later on which should be 1.40 not to go AC Milan , when the total percentages are less than 100 per cent if you are wise and bet in proportion to the odds you can maximise a profit no matter the outcome.

You don't know "in the know" and its only my assessment , Jose hired him to the point where he was promoted to coach the reserves.

Mancini wanted him as his number two.

He is 39 years old and been a first team coach for less than four years , speaks Spanish and Italian , is extremely focused and hardened having lost both parents within a year before their time.

Has Swansea playing the best football for what they have player wise and entertaining at that.

Little doubt the most media savvy manager in the premiership and doesn't restrict his remarks to cliches like most of the others.

I have little doubt bigger clubs will come for at least three of their players over the summer.

They could finish in the top half this season in the know.

Where was Harry after fours years of first team management if you could remind me please?

He will unless he stays at club level because of his choice be Northern Ireland Manager at his choice one day.
