Darren Anderton still looks like a fucking wet lettuce. Surprised he didn't injure himself on the way to the studio.
And so you would feel the need to bring your 'injured' players back for the might of League One rather than rest them for a couple more days for an away game that is now very important having lost their last two league games?sjk2008 said:squirtyflower said:Perhaps people are thinking he 'rested' them for the mighty Stevenagesjk2008 said:I hope noone is really suggesting he 'rested' vdv and bale against United to help them win?
Crackers.
OK, now this may be a long shot....but....maybe, just maybe, they were injured?

So the remaining players, who they put their trust in to beat the scum, are not good enough for League One opposition then?sjk2008 said:squirtyflower said:And so you would feel the need to bring your 'injured' players back for the might of League One rather than rest them for a couple more days for an away game that is now very important having lost their last two league games?sjk2008 said:OK, now this may be a long shot....but....maybe, just maybe, they were injured?
As is an FA Cup tie seeing is now it's definitely the only trophy they can realistically and have a a good chance of winning.

They put their trust in them because they didnt have a choice with VDV and Bale injured and Parker suspended. Now they're fit, why shouldn't they play them?

I just aired the view that some posters make consider the choices made could be thought as of being odd
To which you jumped down their throat like you are now tring to jump down mine
If someone feels that if the 'injuries' don't add up then they are at liberty to air that view without your condescending attitude
You have an opinion, they have an opposite one, end of

Apparently not. They are over-hyped shit and scoring three against them doesn't make the rags into world beaters. Arsenal scored 5 in 25 minutes against them and that was coming off the back of some seriously shite Arsenal form.
Speaking of rags, the office Spud was trying to convince me that the blessed Tottenham played the rags off the park last Sunday. But I don't think they did.

They had loads of possesion but bar one good save from De Gea, I dont think he had anything to do?
I don't recall other posters said they rested them to give scum the edge, you inferred they did, just like you then tried to infer that I said they shouldn't be playedsjk2008 said:squirtyflower said:I don't remember posting anywhere that they shouldn'tsjk2008 said:They put their trust in them because they didnt have a choice with VDV and Bale injured and Parker suspended. Come off it. All i said was that i thought it was crackers to possibly suggest Spurs were 'helping' out United at the weekend.
Then we get into a discussion where I am merely responding to you. Christ, hardly jumping down your throat is it.

You twisted what could have been a reasonable question into something it wasn't
That's not a discussion that's you forcing a point that wasn't there, hence I used the word TRYING to jump down my thoat, but I've now noticed your modus operandi is too exaggerate what isn't there, which doesn't promote discussion at all
