The truth about Silva's injury?

Would we really be resting in him in a cup semi final after having just lost one cup and he only played in half of that game anyway?

Surely, if there was a chance of him being fit for last night, then he'll be fit for the Wigan game or failing that the Tottenham game at least?

Premier league, or a cup, both would be great, but winning the league, ohh, there's no contest.
