Q. What country sits between the Netherlands and Denmark along the North Sea

Bloke decides to take the answer and says Sweden - opponent says "yes, i would have gone for Sweden too" as I'm shouting "Germany you twats!"
Surely it was they two guys who were twats. Poor fucking Germans getting it again. Let it go man.

If there were only 12 episodes of this programme, all he has to do is watch them over and over again to know every single detail in them.
You reallyhave to put in a shift and spend several hours a day learning every single detail and trying to predict the questions.
I did this and got earache fro her indoors, saying things like "When is the decorating going to be done? And have you seen the state of the garden? And the house needs a good clean".
If anyone gets a low score on their specialised subject, it's because they've chosen the wrong subject (too wide, or too vague) or because they haven't done enough hard learning of their subjeact.
But it's the GK round that sorts out winners from also-rans. I can't reveal what I did in that round, lest it discloses my identity. But Take it from one who knows......

I know what you’re saying but this guy had clearly done a lot more than just watch the programme repeatedly. I’ve done that and thought I was going to get most of them.

But most of the questions were along the lines of…. In the scene where Andy Millman is refused entry to the actors bus and told to use the extras bus, who plays the unnamed character behind him who they allow on the bus unchallenged? And the answer is some no mark actor that nobody but his mum ( and this contestant ) has ever heard of.

I often wonder on timed quiz shows such as Mastermind or The Chase, as to whether each contestants questions are timed too, for example, asking that question as you did above, takes longer to ask than "who was the Prime Minister at the start of WW2".
If contestant A repeatedly gets longer questions than contestant B, clearly A is at a disadvantage by having fewer questions asked.

Hmmm, maybe the history of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch wouldn't be a good idea.

Which famous Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch resident etc. Suppose there's always Rhyl. ;)

I didn't know, but in the chase whoever buzzes first the other person has 5 seconds to answer, agree about length of questions though, always seems the chaser gets shorter questions, saying that, my Mrs was on the chase, 3 got through to the final chase and one of the blokes just kept answering really quick questions they ended up scoring 23 against frosty knickers, and won 6k :)
