Saw a repeat of Family Fortunes and question “name a famous Dame” - bloke buzzed and said ‘I don’t know what a Dame is, erm Dame of England”. His relative later said he didn’t know either so guessed Dame River

Saw for the first time during the week the new version of "A question of sport". By the way, it is pure rubbish.
Ugo Monje, team captain was asked to name the two teams with the most league titles in the Premier league area.
United and liverpool was his answer.
I mean, he's a sports star himself.

I haven’t got a clue. Maybe Monje doesn’t follow football. I bet half the people on here wouldn’t get the answer right.

Perhaps he doesn’t care about getting answers right. Hardly anybody does anymore. Being educated seems to be a bad thing to most these days.I get that but he is the captain on a sports quiz team, on TV weekly.

Sometimes celebrity contestants on things like Pointless seem to not really try, or act a bit dumb. Is this because they think its uncool or bad for their image if they appear to be a bit too keen, swotty or knowledgeable?Perhaps he doesn’t care about getting answers right. Hardly anybody does anymore. Being educated seems to be a bad thing to most these days.
