This is from the top table they are very very annoyed with Terry decision to stay at Chelski, they were very confident that he would join, he has always given the impression he would join City and said so in many discussions. He even threatened to hand in a transfer request if he had to. This is why City didn't pull the plug on the deal because they always believed it would happen, unlike the Eto'o deal.

Err..but Terry was silent for 24 days until his statement, so how did he say that he wanted to join City "in so many discussions"? Any proof that he threatened to hand in a transfer request apart from the usual busscrap of speculations and shot in the dark of the anti-chelsea red top worshipping papers about the transfer request?
I dont believe for even a second that he would hand in a transfer request. I did say this is the Terry therad for proof.

Those discussions took place between John Terry and spursmad during personal meetings number of times in undisclosed locations. Just be happy that he decided to share that classified info on this forum instead of any other.

OK OK. We get the picture. The blessed Saint Terry of Stamford never even contemplated signing for City for one nanosecond. He was just, er, thinking about how much he loves it at Chelsea. Happy?

I believe that Terry never wanted to come to City and used their interest to solidify his position within the club and possibly get a new improved contract in the future. He hasn't said a word throughout the whole thing but when he did, he committed his future to Chelsea. The club itself always insisted that he's not for sale. These are facts.

Hi Rafa.

Regarding the Eto'o deal this was 100% agreed, but City had had enough of waiting for Eto'o and Barcelona to sort out they end, so City made an enquiry for Adebayor who was their 2nd target and the london scum gave them plenty of encoragement, so City gave up on the Eto'o deal.

The Lescott deal is very much sorted regarding the player, but Everton ( Moyles) are playing hard ball about the fee, having orginally agreeing a fee, they now keep moving the goal posts. ( fees/players) This deal will happen its just a case of when not if.

Onuoha will be going nowhere, Richards on the other hand I'm not so sure.

Cheers

Would not be surprised if Richards went. Hughes, rightly so, is having a good clear out of all those annoyed him or tried to revolt against him and if the "listen you dick" outburst was a result of this, then Richard's poor attitude and performance could well see him out the door.

I hope not, but if his attitude really was a problem then so be it. If you mess with the manager and you are not 100% behind him, then your out!

Regarding John Terry i really hope we do not go back in for him again in January or next summer

agreed, it was now or never imo, we know he's injury prone he's not getting any younger, we needed 3-4 years to get our moneys worth any less than that is just a blatant waste, he made his choice, lets move on!
