I'm in the cosy confines of an Oldsmobile... parke
It's coming up to 4 years since it was introduced and what are your views regards it's effect, health and any benefits you have seen?

I'm am a smoker and do not mind going outside a pub for a cig, don't smoke in others people's houses and would never of dreamt of lighting up in a restaurant before the ban.

being a sever ashtma sufferer im obviously a big fan really helps somone like me. i think its just logic that people shouldnt have to inhale other peoples smoke so to set up designated areas for people to smoke in pubs ect is good. i have no problem with people smoking just that for people like me who couldnt smoke even if i wanted to it really does help us

I can see your point & I'm not trying to be a prick, but surely car fumes would be a bigger problem?

I think on balance it has been good, but the effect it has had on community pubs and social clubs has been pretty catastrophic.

Also you can smell other people's farts much more when you go out now.

Locals have been hit very hard especially with older blokes stopping in with a drop or two of whiskey. I heard Bingo halls have been hit the hardest though.

I'm not a massive pub goer, but nowadays I will be more likely to go out for tea, for a 2 meals for 8 quid kind of scenario and a pint, as I know it won't be all smoky and it's a much more pleasant environment.

A great move in my opinion.

Lost over half their turnover in the main.
