The Waiting List

Never seen that figure released. Sold out on Day 1 in the past so unlikely to be significant. I'm of the opposite opinion to the majority on here.

City's ticketing has been and is expensive with the Value card used as a gimmick (given hitherto small numbers) to give us good press, but the expansion gives us the possibility of a meaningful number of Value Tickets in the range of £299 to £449.

£449 isnt a value ticket as far as I'm.concerned.

£15.75 to £23 / game is great value for me. Not sure how low you expect it to be before you think it's good value.

Excellent value mate but some people would still moan if they were free.

£23 a game to see David Silva and Sergio Aguero play. I have to disagree with you.

I think a lot of people here need a reality check. I have a mate who supports West Ham, he has a pretty basic seat which was costing £900 3 years ago and that didn't include a neck brace needed to watch Fat Sam's team.

Dont really care what West Ham charge to be honest.

With broadcast and commercial income at an all time high £20 should be the most you pay for a standard seat for 90 minutes of football IMO.

Maybe overly idealistic, but IMO football as industry has lost all perspective on what is reasonable pricing and what isnt.

Going fucking way over board kev, way over board, they have to gauge serious interest, £25 a month for four months isn't ridiculous money if you're seriously interested, or would you rather they asked for £2 a week for the next 50 weeks?

To add a bit of perspective.. at just over 20 quid a game that some of us pay to watch what we do, I know my local league 2 team (Morecambe) works out around 15 quid a game.. I know where i'm happier spending my money! We are cheap, football has changed and isn't strictly a working mans game anymore but we are cheap.

£20 thats mid range for £299 - £450 are you really that angry over an extra £57 / year £3.00 /game at the most.

I must admit unless work opportunities near Manchester improve in my industry or I can secure a £299 ticket I will probably call it a day watching games live. At he moment I can only justify paying £299 as I do not make every game and as tickets to one off games are usually ridiculously priced this does not appear a suitable alternative. Not the clubs fault for me just a matter of Geography and the neccessity to keep pace with other clubs.

Not sure I recall saying that I was angry at £450. Just that I don't consider it a bargain.

It wasnt that long ago (3/4 years) that £450 would have been one of the more expensive non hospitality seats in the stadium.

I'm going way over board am I? Way over board?

My opinion on the way football fans are treated in this country is that we're asked for far too much money at every possible opportunity. If I stump up £300 now for me and my 2 lads for season tickets in 2 years time, I want to be guaranteed about what I'm going to get at the end of it. Not too much to ask when you pay a deposit is it?

It's been going on for far too long and because it's City and West Ham, Arsenal and QPR charge more, it's not going to stop me having a say.

They've been selling loyalty points over the last few seasons which basically means if you've got more money than the bloke next to you, it doesn't matter how many games he's been to, he'll never catch your loyalty points.

How exactly am I going overboard? I'm writing a comment on a fucking internet forum, not invading the pitch and chaining myself to the goalposts.
