The 'We Will Win the Title' Thread (merged)

Been thinking calmly about this, and I've come to the conclusion that if our season doesn't pan out - and that means probable second spot instead of the title, not exactly humiliating, really - it hangs on very little. I'm well aware that this could not have happened, but had Bony been here to replace Negredo, with time to bed in in the first six matches or so, and had either Sergio or Spanish Dave not had their lengthy injuries spells (take one or the other out of the equation, although having both of them for a full season would be heaven itself), I think the impact would have been very significant, and that we'd be pushing Chelsea much harder for that trophy. It really doesn't hang on much.

We don't deserve to win the league we've been nowhere near being consistent enough this season.

We're better than Chelsea but they're more consistent, focused and professional than us and therefore they deserve it.
if we end up with more points, the same points and a better gd, then we will deserve to win it, just like last year ans 2012, that's how leagues work.

Hopefully the players haven't given up yet, unlike some of the weak fans we have.

Anybody who wins it deserves to win it. There can be no impostor PL winners in a thirty-eight match season. But I cannot agree that the quality will have been anything like the 2011-12 season. From August to Christmas that year, we played some utterly superb attacking football.

Sadly Chelsea will win the league very comfortably

They put the measure down with signings pre-season Fabregas, Costa, Matic etc and we had yet another disappointing/ disastrous transfer window.

We must now work hard to secure top 4 and hope we have top quality investment in the next transfer windows.

Have you got next week Euro Millions numbers? You are either privy to some inside information or you are making a wild guess, just wait and see what transpires over the next few weeks, we have been here before

Staggered at the amount of optimism on here,
Probably from what occurred in 2012 and 2014.

Have people forgot how shit were playing and the issues we currently have?
We currently have a team bereft of confidence,
A team confused and befuddled by baffling tactics and a team with several players out of form.

These problems won't magically be solved in the last 10 games.
Yes Chelsea may slip up but so will we. I predict they will win it by 15 points.

I think between 8 to 11 points as they will take their foot off the gas to concentrate on champions league football

Costa and Fabregas have been very quiet since the new year tbh.

I have faith in them dropping points against at least two of these - United, Arsenal or Liverpool.

They also face Southampton next weekend, not many teams put many goals past them.

I don't think Chelsea will win by 15 points .
But i do agree we have no chance of winning it .
The tactics and the squad selection as been baffling this season .
Plus we have a captain that's all over the place at this moment .
The City ship looks like it's hit an iceberg this season .

Yes with have be realistic based on what has occurred this season.

Fabregas ran the game against West Ham
