Been without power for the last 2 hours here (lightning strike on a transformer, I'm guessing). Haven't been able to see any of the game tonight, so I'm missing the Palmer wankathon on the telly.Constant thunder here for the last half hour or so. Bound to happen, after the extreme heat of the last few days.
Thank fuck for thatCooler tomorrow and rain on Tuesday.
You must live not far from me then. I scampered out to bring the washing in earlier on, it was raining so hard. It’s still very dark outside.Been absolutely lashing it down over the past hour near Airport.
Roads and my drive flooded.
Would not be surprised if the airport relief road is flooded again.

Currently, very bright and breezy east of the Pennines.
I went to Essouira some years ago, the sea breeze helped enormously. It was a lovely town then, not touristy at all.always at least a 10mph wind though here on the coast.
it genuinely doesn't feel like 30degrees would in manchester, mate.
