Wastrels one and all regardless of political colour or hue. And they are all the same. In it for what they can get out of it. It’s just the Tories get the bigger gigs because they are more wealthy and better connected. David Lammy is as bad as Rees Mogg and vice-versa. The only difference is the size of the troughs they push their snouts into. I won’t be voting at the next election. Complete and utter waste of time and effort.

As I said when I started the thread, the issue is across the house and is it any wonder when some genuinely think and believe they’re all the fucking same?

Two bits to that though, albeit I realise most people won’t think this way. One is the values aren’t really the important thing, it’s where the donations come from that matters.
The other thing is this shows just how brazen people can get when they get into power as the donations really aren’t where the real money is at. It’s both follow the trail to the next step and look how else some MPs have benefitted. Mone and Jenrick both being prime examples that in any other generations would have been in prison. Instead, one’s down to the final two in a leadership contest to run a party.
If there’s any sniff of Labour doing that in power, they are absolutely screwed. They already have public perception against them due to people seeing just the face of it regardless of considering the motive of the donor. Anything untoward underneath it and the press will have even more of a field day than they have already.
