Rudolph was 'only' backing on my favourite Isley Brothers song, but he sang n some blinders so totally agree. Ron and Ernie left now.

I was hearing today that when the Isley Brothers first toured the UK in 1964 their piano player was a jobbing musician called Reg Dwight ( Equity had the UK as a closed shop so they couldn't bring their own band ) - he told them he had a book of songs he had written - their response was "no thanks son we have our own material" How things could have been different eh?
