There's not many better songs than "Go Now". It's one of the greatest songs of the 60s and that opening line takes some beating. I don't even think Sinatra or Fitzgerald could beat that delivery. It's absolutely superb.Apparently a really nice guy.....Denny sang that Moody Blues hit song "Go Now" when he was with them.
He was in Wings for quite a few years, Him & McCartney were at one time a duo who recorded the album Band On The Run in Lagos when the rest of the band didn't show up.
RIP.
I know it's a controversial one, but "Mull of Kintyre" is just brilliant - melodic, memorable and as the old phrase goes "I wish I'd had written a song as bad as that". Not to mention absolute classics with Wings on Band on the Run.
Not only that he played with Ginger Baker. Some CV that!
