Alan Yentob: BBC arts broadcaster dies aged 78
He interviewed a raft of important cultural and creative figures over a lengthy career at the BBC.www.bbc.com
Well I, for one maybe, am very sad to see Alan Yentob go. He was great, and was talented amd innovative and had an eye for good stuff and for the most talented people. Made some great tv under his watch. And he had that dry Jewish humour that it you dont get it I suppose you wouldnt like, but I do cos I am. He made some quality TV happen to all of our benefit and was a good man. Watch the documentary if you can find it of when he out to meet Mel Brooks and Rob Reiner in New York.
