There's a good documentary about his life from a few years back called Sing Your Song. It's only on Apple TV at the moment but hopefully it'll be aired elsewhere sooner rather than later.

They way he sings Mary’s Boy Child always brings a tear to my eye as my Mum loved the way he sang it. She used to say Boney M ruined it. He had a lovely voice. RIP.

I haven’t so much lost interest in sex but as I’m getting a bit older (53) I’m finding there is a downside - I know I’ll be up at least 4 times during the night needing to pee afterwards!
I’ve accepted having to get up to pee as par for the course as we age but climaxing seems to mess up my water works big style.
Sex in the evening and work next morning? I’ll be extra tired and useless from hardly sleeping. That makes me think twice before ‘putting out’ :)

Brings back memories of the Mather and Platt Kids Chtistmas Party, if it was released in May 57, it would have been in 58 when I was seven, summer music for a cold English winter. Mary's boy child I probably heard the previos year. Always remember him singing Hole in my bucket with Odetta. Paul Robeson his mentor, can't be bad.
