The "which famous person died today" thread

We missed David ( Dai ) Duckham . Well before England won a world cup so not surprised his passing not been mentioned. 1971 British Lion played 3 tests, the only non Welsh player in the back line in 3 out of 4 tests v New Zealand.
The Welsh loved him after the 73 Barrbars game in Wales.
After that tour when Wales played England Gareth Edwards in the tunnel went up to Duckham and handed him the match ball before taking it back and stating " you wont see that again today " Duckham was a true gent and a Coventry legend.
Sorry Irelands Mike Gibson played all 4 tests ( so Leighton is kept happy )
Agree David was class I recall those early 70s internationals and he was a great player and one of few high spots for England at the time when we took a few beatings especially at the hands of the Welsh !
