The "which famous person died today" thread

Probably doesn't mean too much to many here, but late 90's WWF wrestler 'Droz' died today.
He was only in his relative infancy as a wrestler when he was paralysed in October 1999 due to an in-ring move going wrong; a botched running powerbomb saw him land on his head, and he would never walk again.

Apparently the footage of that accident, along with the footage of the death of Owen Hart, are both filed away in the WWE vaults, never to see the light of day.

Terrible news this. Was only watching him on Dark Side of the Ring the other day and thought he doesn't look like he's going to carry on much longer. Amazingly talented wrestler, could have happened to any of them.

He said: “I ripped his hair out of his head … I drop kicked him so hard he landed on his head. I beat the crap out of him. I kicked him and smashed him and stomped on him. I put a submission on him that nearly broke his back. They shovelled him out of the ring and that ended the contest and he never ever wrestled again.”

I so hope that's all true (and not invented to sell a book).

Remember him and his tag partner big bad Bobby Barnes very camp but entertaining
