Her diagnosis 15 years ago prompted her to campaign for more awareness of breast cancer in the young.

Albini's death is a huge shock, difficult to get my head around it tbh. One of the most uncompromising people in rock history. If you can, check out Big Black's Pigpile live video - he's playing so hard his fingers are bleeding and his white t shirt is completely stained red by the end of the set. Seeing this bloodstained nerd performing a truly chilling version of the brilliant, horrifying "Jordan Minnesota" is something that stays with you. RIP legend.

There's something almost "nice" (if that's the right word) about Albini dying at his studio, it was never going to end any other way really was it? Stuck to his guns til the end and his views on the music industry still hold up today, legend
