Walcott has always seen himself developing into a striker. In fact he was bought originally for that role.

I'm wondering if Dzeko is involved in the deal does Mancini/ Marwood see him as a wing option off the bench AND a 4th striker option?

I guess it depends on the interest there is in him. I wouldn't be surprised if a few other clubs stuck cheeky bids in for him. Maybe even Rodgers. Newcastle need a winger too. He's a decent player and I'm surprised no one else has moved for him.
