Theo Walcott? ..

I don't understand Walcott.

I've watched him loads, and I just don't understand his appeal.

With the exception of speed, what technical aspect of football is he good at?

He is only 23, may be Bobby thinks he can coach him into being a better player, after failing with AJ

Nothing. As i said yesterday, he'd be our new Darius Vassell. That's not necessarily a bad thing because we DO need pace, but i'd prefer us to sign less of a headless chicken.

He'll score some very good predatory goals... but then he'll miss absolute sitters.

Reminds me a bit of Dzeko's inconsistency or Vassell's inability to anything at all when he had time to think.

Pace is something we sorely lack, we don't seem to be abilty to play at the right tempo for large parts of the season and someone like Walcott would give us an outlet to create space for others and get in behind defences.

Not the perfect option, as his touch and decision making is often poor... i think the fact he's English, relatively young and an international is three boxes we seem to want to check.

Finishing.
Very true, he is pretty composed in front of goal. I also think his crossing/final ball has become a fair bit better and more consistent over the last 12 months imo. Personally, I think with his pace and the quality of passing we have, he would tear teams apart late on in games as an impact sub. Not convinced at all that he will end up leaving Arsenal this window though. It'll be back to Sinclair in 24 hours imo.

4 minutes to shut up the doubters

Bring him on late in games against tired teams and let him run at them.

Don't watch much of Arsenal but if he's any good at crosses stick him on with Dzeko, decent plan B.
He's shite at crossing.

......unlike Jesus......
