So, we pass Aguero, Tevez, Aguero, Silva, Yaya, Tevez, through to Walcott...sidefoot pass to opposing cb, groan from crowd, everytone sets off running back towards their own goal..

That's the usual, outcome I see for Arsenal & England.

I don't know why you bother getting up in the mornings?......are you happy breathing?
He's spot on. Walcott is as wasteful a footballer that you'll find anywhere. He runs down blind alleys, he overhits a lot of things, miskicks a lot of things, often his dribbling ends up in him tripping over the ball and it just goin out of play.

He's the antithesis of Adam Johnson. No skill all pace; to all skill no pace. Surely there's someone out there with both positive attributes?
Yes, there is... he signed for Chelsea!

Its quite possible the answer to that will be no

I'm very happy being Champions with better players than fucking Savic & Walcott or spending £30 odd million quid on that overrated lump from Bilbao.

Quality is what we want.

Oh dear

I would volunteer to help him out.

And he keeps banging on anout the English and England. Fucking boring.

I'm not the one who keeps bringing up his fucking england caps, it's all the people who are saying we should sign him.

What have you added that's so fucking interesting anyway, to anything ?

-- Wed Aug 29, 2012 1:50 pm --

There's a point in there though. As I said earlier, I don't understand him as a player.

I can't call him great or crap because I'm not sure what the point of him is. I don't know the criteria to judge him upon.

All I can see is that he's fast
And can change games with that pace and his finishing. Do I have to post a youtube vid?

As I shown earlier, his finishing is pretty poor comparatively. So this leaves us saying that we should buy him because he can change games with his pace.

Why don't we train a sprinter for six months in the basics of football and allow nim to come off the bench? It would be a cheaper exercise than this.

Also, I'm not sure that buying players who only have a single plus point is anything that Mancini has ever done. He's written papers about universality and all of our players are versatile.

Walcott would also be a torn muscle away from ending his usefulness.

There's got to be more in it than he's fast, some scout must have seen something decent im him.

Put him in a team with genuine world class players like ours and watch him realise the potential he has always had but never realised, playing for the Frenchman.

Go get him Bobby

Perhaps Mancini thinks he can fix him ?

I think it's a hell of a long shot.

I dont think you did show his finishing to be poor. You posted an Opta generated study that had Nani as the most deadly striker in the premier league. He was that good he has a 110% sucess rate???

Can you post the full table so we can judge?

Also, if you use OPTA to decide whether a footballer is any good or not then you are in trouble.
