Like I said, any needless death is tragic but you cannot stop the right of say 300 million people to stop driving just because of 30,000 + deaths..... Same with guns. Same with swimming pools.

I can find just as many stories where having a gun has saved people from being raped, killed.....

Cars are not intended to kill are they. Manufacturers have improved safety and cars are safer than ever before and deaths are down despite record numbers on the road.

Cars are a necessity for personal travel. Guns are not a necessity are they? How many times have you needed to drive somewhere? How many times have you, or anyone you know had to resort to using your firearm?

I bet you can't find just as many articles where a gun has saved someone from as I can find that some innocent person has been wrongly shot (usually by your police).

I absolutely guarantee that you cant. You want to, but it wont happen. And you cannot use the motoring comparison. There have been strides in road safety, from better designed cars and roads and driving tests and drink drive laws and all sorts down the years that prevent deaths. There has been no similar measures in controlling guns in America. Silly comparison, too silly to even entertain it.

There are millions of documented cases of people using guns to defend themselves. In individual situations as well as WW1 or WW2 for example. We used guns against the germans so multiply that by however many people benefited from the outcome of those two wars, you silly little pendejo!
