It is true that wars are fought using guns. If it weren't for guns, Hitler may have won and we'd all be speaking German apart from the Jews who would have been eradicated whilst the rest of us lived in complete fascism.

Do you know how many those 3 alone murdered? Millions. Millions of people killed. How were they able to kill so many? They made it illegal for the Jews to own guns in Hitlers case. The others banned private ownership of guns so that people could not defend themselves.
Now, of course, any death is regrettable but obviously we as a society do deem a certain amount of death as acceptable. People die in car accidents and drown in swimming pools but we don't ask to ban them even though more die from car accidents each year than from guns.

If you buy a plane ticket, apply for any form of insurance or health care, apply to study or try to drink alcohol or do just about anything and it's harder.
For a car you need a licence to drive, you need to be of a certain age, you need to have INsurance, you need finance checks, you are filmed every time you but petrol etc etc etc
