Looks like they can play in the same team.
Who are you dropping to accommodate him, Yaya? Or Fernandinho who we just paid 30m for? Because he's leaving Barca to play regular 1st team football which we can't offer.

Thiago is better than both of these players, not to mention he plays in a different position than Navas. for me the 1 player who needs to work hard for his place is yaya as he seems to be getting a bit lazy.
Fernandinho is way more accomplished and is much better suited to go straight into our team and affect games. I think he's easily a better option than Thiago at the moment.
Who ever is not doing it, it's called competition for place/rotation/injuries.
Thiago isn't even in the same class as Yaya and to suggest he is, is absolutely absurd.

We are not signing this lad!

The scum are after him..

No point in flapping. They are bound to be looking for improvements in their midfield so Thiago's name is bound to crop up.

Me Flap ;) it just some fans think we after him we are not..

read my post what i said is he is better than fernandinho and navas but he would also be good comp for yaya as lately his performance has dropped. I would personally play;
------------------Fernandinho------------------
-------------Yaya-----------Thiago------------
--Isco-----------------------------------Silva-
-------------------Aguero---------------------
and as ive said for the last 2 months i dont think we need a new striker and would much rather buy Thiago, plus i put silva on the left and isco right because they are left and right footed respectivly plus will swa anyway. silva plays great for spain in this position.

Not you :). Isco is more likely but I will be more than happy to be proved wrong on Thiago.

Any of Yaya, Fernandinho, Barry, Rodwell, Thiago and Garcia in midfield.
Any of Navas, Milner, Aguero, Silva, Nasri, Isco and Dzeko up top.

Nasri could yet leave also.

i think it would be rodwel for barry, and nasri would defo go if thiago and isco come in.

If he was happy to fight for a place/be part of a rotational system he wouldn't be leaving Barca in the first place. He wants to be a guaranteed starter in the big games.

We bought Fernandinho because he has the engine to enable us to play a 2 man midfield with him and Yaya. It would've been a waste of time buying him if he's just gonna be deployed as an anchorman because you're not getting anywhere near the best out of him.

Is he bollocks better than Fernandinho.

And Navas is a winger.

Frighteningly good for his age. If we gave him consistent playing time, I think he could become as good as Fabregas was. Maybe he wouldn't score as many, but he'd give Yaya the chance to stay further forward. We're absolutely dying out for a world class playmaker, and the fact he plays so much in one of the best midfields in the world speaks so much about his potential. I'd love to see him at City. Please don't let the rags get him.
