If the scum get him he solves their central midfield issue, for €18m we have to get him.

I think he can easily challenge some of the more attacking central midfielders in our team and maybe even become a regular, he is an exceptionally talented midfielder.

If we want him then we'll clear some room to land him, and as they seem to have interest in Rodwell it'd probably mean an end to Garcia and Barry. We have to be showing some interest in him, don't we?

Spain u21s were too much! Thiago wants the ball under pressure,he demands it anywhere. We need to produce that kind of mentality in our kids Tosser!!!!

For a ball playing, more defensive midfielder he hasn't done bad scoring 3 goals in the first half of the final. I think if we did sign him for City we'd basically have a league side and a cup side. There are a few weeks when we play weekend and midweek throughout the season, having Isco, Thiago, Yaya, and Silva would mean we can rest important players and cope with any injuries. I would hope we can compete for all the domestic trophies this season and at least get out of the group stage of the Champions League.

Thiago can easily be accommodated in our squad and would play plenty of games, I only hope our hierarchy try to persuade him to come to us. We at least have to show interest at the 18 million buyout price.

What people don't seem to recognise is the fact that if we play the Barca way, or the Spanish way, we only need one striker, or even no strikers. All the midfield interchange positions throughout the game, and all ae capable of getting in scoring positions. Personally I'd prefer us to sign Jackson Martinez and forget about Cavani, and use the extra cash we'd save to sign Thiago. If only we could sign these players, and with Pellegrini in charge we should be certain favourites for the league.

this guy is unreal and we need to snap him up, i just hope the rags dont, but its looking more likely they are going too, does anyone know if we are even interested

Dead right imo. The Spanish lads want the ball & don't mind passing it to players who are surrounded or receiving a pass when surrounded & usually keep it.

He isn't a defensive player he's an attacking player. He would have to take the place of one of our attacking players.

How did Kagawa do in the Man Utd midfield?

Man Utd have to work out whether they are going to play pass and move in the midfield or play down the wing. Fergie started with Kagawa in the middle, but then abandoned it and went back to his wingers.

A lot of people just want us to sign him so the rags can't. Doesn't work like that.

He signs for them and he's nailed on to start every week, he signs for us and he's not. It's that simple.

For a player always talking about wanting to play regularly in the big games, I imagine it would be a no brainer for him.
