People say we wouldn't have enough room for Thiago? For players like Thiago, you MAKE ROOM. Last year we went for Van Persie even though we already had 4 strikers. We didn't need a striker, but when a player of that quality becomes available, you take them as they can make the difference. Thiago is in that bracket, he is already a top player and can get even better which is a scary thought. If we get the chance to buy him, do it.

It's not fair on the player, unless you have a plan to actually play him.

you make room for a player of his ability by offloading the likes of Garcia and even Milner and Barry....(the latter 2 are good players for the prem but are not good enough for champs league.......if we kept one id keep barry)

At the age of 21, Mesi had 38 goals in 51 games for Barca. At 22, 47 in 53.

Those are the kind of players you change your team plans for, not some kid who scores occasionally & plays the odd nice pass.

The thing with nev is he ignores blatant potential, knows his stuff don't get me wrong but refuses to get caught up in 'hype'-

To add my 2p worth, I agree with you, the players we're accumulating would have one of the best conductors in the game within 12 months, he's 5x the player of silva IMO and I'd be balls deep for him- a collective of isco, silva and thiago would be unreal, the prem would be chasing fucking shadows!!!!
