ive had my fingers crossed for the last couple of weeks that we actually sign him and its been drivin me crazy that it seemed united were gettin closer and closer. The last 24 hours for me have been perfect, isco saying he wants to follow pellegrini and we are in for thiago and txiki really wants him. although until they both sign on the dotted it means nothing but hope is hope.

I thought it was these sort of players Txiki and co would give us the inside track on? Knowing contracts of promising youth players and where they can be poached. Obviously it still had to come down to the player and Delofeu didn't come off, but we'd miss out on Alcantara to the Rags?! Got to amount to a public whipping shirely?

He has 5 followers. Not that I like Twitter, or use the number of people interested in reading about the food you just consumed as a measure of legitimacy, but that does seem a bit odd.

Guilllem Ballague on Revista said something on the lines that if City or United put down 18m (I am thinking that is in Euros) that it will be enough to convince him to move.

My only issue with this is does it mean the Fernandinho move would be a no go? Is Barry's City career over?

United can offer him more game time as it's a position of the field that they have needed for years and he pretty much fits the bill.

Fits the profile of younger and probably has a resale value, and at 18m Euros is a steal. Just concerned we are sort of signing or allegedly signing half of the Spanish side. Don't think Barry's career over, just that we might not need to rely on him as much as we have done. Long season lots of games and being frank Barry ain't cut out for CL games.

for me both isco and thiago are as much no brainers as u can get and thiago is the better player

Hi City fans, I'm a barcelona fan signing up to lots of other clubs forums to discuss football.

I see you take interest in Thiago? For me hes a great player and has been treated awful. Wouldnt of happened with Laporta or Pep.

I would rather Cesc leave than him but he seems to be off.

Also Mundo Deportivo - Catalan press has an interveiw with him in which David De Gea(would love barca to sign him) is trying to convince him to join United.

He's also posted pictures with De Gea on Twitter and Sport another catalan based newspaper claims sir alex met with his dad recently.

Me personally i see him going to either you or italy. I think your style of play would suit him and apaprently in mundo it said his father is freinds with Soriano and Tixi?
