I would pick Thiago over Isco, we have a more urgent need in central midfield than we do in AM. Our only reliable top class options in CM are Fern and Yaya. Got Silva, Nasri, Navas, Milner for AM/winger. Thiago also seems to be cheaper, although both wouldn't be bad.

If you are going to list Milner as AM/winger you have to include him, Rodwell and Barry in the central midfield options.

I'd rather have Isco than Thiago but I'd buy both.

Not sure. Not seen Navas, we can't describe Nasri as top class based on what we've seen and whilst Milner works his socks off and has his creative moments, Isco is undoubtedly a better AM.
Nasri will do better in the middle. Honestly, I haven't seen a whole lot of Isco, but would he play more wide or central, cause if central, Nasri might have to go.

Prefer Isco we have players like Thiago already.
We have Central midfielders but from what I'm seeing in the u21s we have no one like Thiago. He is excellent. IMO he'd allow us to start Rodwell and bench YaYa which is good for our long term success.

Isco is also wonderful. Can't track back and seems to complain to his team mates a lot but fantastic feet and vision. Better than Silva or Nasri I think ... but I think we should hold onto both.

IMO both Barry and Milner should be replaced by Thiago and Isco (if at all possible) even if it means not signing a striker.

BTW I hope we are scouring England for decent defenders and goalkeepers because there are no young English players good enough to play in the more creative positions.

We should have already secured the signature of this guy before the tournament even started. He is just a brilliant footballer. Personally we should forget spending mad amounts on Cavani and use the funds to build a very strong young squad.

I would rather spend £45mill on Vidal tbh.

Imagine a midfield squad of Yaya, Fernandinho, silva, Vidal, isco, Navas Rodwell thiago

7 of those would expect to start most games. Its not realistic

I agree but form and injuries play a part over the course of a season together with the shear number of games. A good man manager and intelligent players would understand this.

It's a genuine question. Why don't people want to answer rather than having a dig???!

Not sure we have a plan B for Thiago. He was a special case....you buy because he is available...not because you need him.
