What I've seen of him he plays as an attacking midfielder, If we got him he would do what silva nasri players are doing for us.

He's been the stand out player for Spain's U21's.
His passing and composure are very good.
It would be unfortunate, but not unexpected, if he joins the rags.

I think he and Nasri are naturally slightly deeper players. Frankly, Thiago is potentially one of the best players in the world. Get him. We are on a timer. Get him. I guess you mean Silva and Nasri? I'm with you on Isco. It was attacking creativity from midfield that was missing in spadefuls last season. No one was on Silva's wavelength except Tevez (occasionally).
I think a player like Isco who could develop an understanding with Silva could be the missing piece of the puzzle and might just light the touchpaper.
Thiago started as a Iniesta-esque player. But it's clear that he plays much better from deep. The only issue is that he's not a very big lad. Scholes for example, has one of the biggest frames in midfield. I think that if the Rags plan on buying Thiago and playin him alongside Carrick, they are going to get walked on by stronger teams. Midfields of Ramires, Boateng and Yaya and Fernandhino will dominate them. Technically awesome, yes. But he isn't even as athletic as Cleverley.
He'd be an awesome buy if you put him next to a bulldog, but United don't own one.

Scholes isn't a big lad. He and and Thiago are very similar in height and weight
Aguero weighs about the same listed weight as Scholes/Thiago... But one could argue that his frame is much different than either player. Some players are built for the Prem... Thiago would need a defensive midfield next to him in Uniteds 2 man midfield.

Why on earth would anyone think Thiago's physique would make him unsuitable for us and the PL?
Jeez... have anyone of you ever watched him play?
He may not be muscular or heavy, but he is one tricky lad to take the ball away from, his movement is so superior to most other players that he doesn't really face the same type of challenges they do. He will get fouled a lot with a lot of free kicks to us as a result.
And he is still very young, would likely add a few pounds of strength playing here regularly.
He's a combination of Xabi, Lampard and Xavi, with the potential to be an absolute world beater. To say we do not want him because he's to light is just plain silly.
I'd consider him to be a more important signing than any striker, provided we keep the ones we have.
