Barry has a year left on his deal and although he is not worth a new one, I would hand him a one-year extension, allowing him to play against Prem cannon-fodder and the domestic cups.
Just in time for New York City F.C opening season and a friendly £10m bid for a X2 Prem League winner and former England international.
Barry had been on the downslide for quite a while and the first sign was the game at Bayern the year before.
He was overrrun by the Wigan midfield in the Final.
Sadly, I think he will sit it out for another year and attempt to leave on a free unless we can thrash something out this summer.
His wages are far too high for clubs to consider at present.
How much stock is there with the Stoke links?
Read Leslie fancies him and Joleon.
Would be nice moves for the pair of them, both being a little closer to the Midlands.
Hughes has made a career out of signing former players and Stoke are one of those clubs daft enough to pay big wages to older players, see Crouch and Owen.
Lescott deserves a bigger club than Stoke and I am sure he would stay if it wasn't for a World Cup year.
A Newcastle, Villa or Sunderland would be more his level.

Any news on Isco or any other targets will be appreciated.
As stated previously, there is a lot of confidence at City with regards signing Isco.
