What does "flamed out" mean?
So, what happened to him?
They did not go in to Ligt the world on fire like Messi or a lesser version of himWhat does "flamed out" mean?
This is an exciting move in a few different ways. Not only is he one of the best talents in South America but he's going to go to Sporting to develop for the next two years? Assuming they actually treat him as one of their own and not as a loanee this could be the start of something huge. A great test case.
1. They get a top quality player they wouldn’t normally be able to buy.Yep. But what's Sporting's advantage? Do we pay the wages during loan?
Or is Sporting happy to have no risk when having no chance for transfer profits?
We also seem to have a new plan to avoid any work permit trouble in the future.
Is he seen as a safe starter for Argentina even before his debut??
Surely Sporting needs to permanently qualify for EL to meet WP criteria.
Never heard of this lad, and the “new Messi” stuff is daft hyperbole, but Alan Nixon is one of the better Sun journalists from what I can recall. A low bar, admittedly.

2. Probably split the wages if we leave him for 2 years
3. Given the hopeful turnover in the National Team squad and a better manager he should be seeing that team real soon after having a decent U20 campaign.
4. The Big 3 + Braga are usually safe bets for European spots.
Not sure if serious, but don't we have to actually sign him before he's our player?I guess now that he is our player there is no harm getting excited about him, yes? :P
Maradona says hi.Okay, 10 minutes ago I did not know who he is, and now I watched a few of his videos. I know that YouTube can make Javi Garcia look like the best Midfielder in the world. But this kid did look like a great talent. I do not think any player ever will be like Messi , but I have to admit he's do remind me Messi
Reminds me more of the Stockport Messi TBH albeit right footed.Okay, 10 minutes ago I did not know who he is, and now I watched a few of his videos. Messi is way better than Maradona. National team achievements aside, as a player, no one will ever reach Messi's level. If Maradona was playing today he would not be as successful as he was.Maradona says hi.
My bad. Tot he was our player now. Well! Back to not caring mode then. Not sure if serious, but don't we have to actually sign him before he's our player?
You're wrong but we'll agree to disagree.Messi is way better than Maradona. National team achievements aside, as a player, no one will ever reach Messi's level. If Maradona was playing today he would not be as successful as he was.
Any way I hope this kid will be half of Messi :)

Don't forget the Japanese Messi, Takefusa Kubo - he actually is doing nicely and rumours of his possible return to Barcelona B
