Fuck me! Ten pages and no mention of The Night Of The Demon....
I remember watching the original House on Haunted Hill when I was kid.
It had some weird old woman on wheels in it, frightened the ffoook out of me.
The Devil Rides Out creeped the fuck out of me too....
It didn't help sharing a bed room with three older brothers...bastards.
A TV series called Journey into the unknown gave me many a nightmare.

We have a downstairs toilet at my house and I always used to make sure that the downstairs toilet door was shut before I went to bed because I had this strange fear that Edward Scissorhands was going to rise out of the toilet during the night. Fucked up I know but it's weird what scares you when you're a kid
My mam used to tell me if I didn't go to sleep The Sandman would come and throw sand in my eyes.
I used to go bed fooking petrified of The Sandman. In fact all these years later I thought that it was something she made up, until now, I've just googled it and found out its a mythical character in childrens stories and he wasn't the nasty scary demon that I thought!
Why didn't she tell me who The Sandman was, she could've bought me a book at least!
I'm a bit miffed about this now.
