Things they could repeat on TV

That was a good laugh in the 80s but I have zero desire to ever watch it all over again.
You should give it a go mate its piss funny, in a retro kind of way. At the very least it will take your mind off the horror show, however briefly.
Take caee

Burn It

As @Psychedelic Casual has previously mentioned.

Best series on tv ever - especially for a certain (my) generation who could completely relate to it.

I've read it could never be released on DVD as the royalties would be too much - the soundtrack was excellent.

Years ago, there was a guy on here selling copies........can't remember who, but if they read this and can still do it, I'd love a PM!!

Colossal show this.

The only time I've ever heard a Northside track played on a TV show/ in a film other than on Granada Soccer Night.

Now that's proper Mancunia.

The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin. Though you can skip the series set in the commune; that was shite. The first two series though, were brilliant. Tony, David, CJ, Joan, Reggie's son-in law (can't remember his character name) with his weird wines, and his brother in law, always around on the cadge. Epic telly.
Sorry I'm late, Joan; wrong kind of rain at Godalming.
I didn't get where I am today by wearing pink pyjamas
Bit of a cock up on the catering front
Half past parsnips.

Any play by Dennis Potter
Magic Roundabout
The Binmen
The History Man
Monty Python
Softly Softly
The Young Ones

used to love treasure hunt with anneka rice, well worth repeating
