You can book ahead, and should, get the latest slot they have, it's amazing in the evening. You can't swim in the roman bath, historical monument and all, but the tour is quite good. Look out for Brian Cant.
The rooftop pool/spa isn't far from your hotel, easy walk, and is heated by the same springs as the Roman one. Once again, book ahead. Great views.
Sally Lunns is near the bath house and is famous for buns. The building is nearly 400 years old. Very nice breakfasts.
Dang! :(16 or over though.
As I've already said...Sally lunns. They do buns. And coffee. There's quite a few places to eat in Bath. The Raven of Bath is a great pub that does lovely pies, with gravy. Sit upstairs if there's room.Booked (panic over given how difficult it is too book so soon ahead).
Can look at 'things to do' but will definitely look at the baths (£40 a swim on that rooftop pool....may think on that one give the hotel has a decent poo/spa too :) ).
Any recommends over decent coffee houses and restaurants (nothing too fancy as it's just me and my son) would be great but I'll start looking.
Yeah, it’s fucking brilliant for both students and parents. Only problem for my lad is that the last year of his degree and the first year of his masters spanned covid and the lockdowns, both of which which he really struggled with.Interesting to read that, my sons put Bath down as his first choice for uni, had a really good feel about the campus and the place too. He did wonder about the nightlife aspect of it as he likes to go to gigs a lot but thought the same thing about Bristol not being far away.
Selfishly, I wanted him to choose it as we’re looking forward to visiting if he does go there!

Bet Sally Luun's is a bit dearer than Mrs Lees Chippy in Stalybridge :)Looks great that.
My son loves York so this will be right up his street.
Shame about the over 16 for the rooftop spa, but I'm sure we'll find other things to do.
Just grabbed a few follows on Insta for food places in Bath.View attachment 86752
