Things you used to see as a kid...

Does anyone remember "Spanish Gold" it was in a tobacca pouch and really sweet.
Also Spangles and little pouches of chewing gum " golden nuggets".
There was also little round sweets like Tutti Frutti's called Gleese or something similar.

Kid's waiting outside factories on a friday to get their dad's wages before they pissed thr lot up the wall .

Spastics.
Joey Deacon was a celebrity spastic. They even had their own society which was a common feature on Britain's High streets.

My games teacher used to call me a spastic as well, sometimes twice a week.

Sadly with the decommissioning of the light blue invalid carriages, spastics never really recovered and decided to disband in the early 80's. Many moved to the Indian subcontinent of India where they resettled.

Invalid carriages occupants watch in amazement at 70's football star Colin Bell from the Platt Late end at Maine Road in the 1970's keenly watched by lots of able bodied people in green parkas.

Absolute quality 'Lunar' and LMAO.

heaven in a packet.

I am only 20 but i was out everyday making go karts , Digging 6ft deep dens , setting fires , firing bb guns out of bush's at passers by. Garden swaping, knock a door run. The mud slinging pipes. Throwing dirt into covertables in the summer. Attacking bus drivers with snow.
Stone wars on a pub car park, manhunt, making booby traps for people that came in our woods.Robbing snow men. Pinching outdoor christmas lights and putting them next door.

Fucking miss it all im going to get all my old mates out one night and try and do all these things again.
