I too was 'feeling it'.morleyswife said:Understand where you are coming from. Fact remains I loved it and felt it. As long as we dont shove the stuff down peoples throats (me and you as fans).Blue&whitestripes said:morleyswife said:Wouldn't show it to any of my non city mates. But I personally fucking loved it
Trouble is, it's up on a public website and there are lots of comments on twitter about it (& no doubt the same on facebook) so you can rest assured it'll be seen by fans of other clubs. It's ammunition for them. Imagine how we Blues would respond if we saw a video like this for Liverpool ....
Couldn't agree more. The perfect fumble said:gordondaviesmoustache said:I loved it, but I understand that some posters, who aren't as 'urban street' as me, might find it a bit loud and racy and be a little overwhelmed by the speed that the pictures change.
I see where you're coming from, It's all to do with the aesthetics of imperfection and insufficiency.

We all did the journey, we all came back, because somehow we all knew, one day, this City would rise.

I went in a time-machine in 1976 and saw the future. It's the only reason I endured all those insufferable years of failure mixing with the likes of you.Skashion said:We all did the journey, we all came back, because somehow we all knew, one day, this City would rise.
I think you'll find I fucking didn't and staying the journey had fuck all to do with league position but to do with loving being a blue and the general character of my fellow blues. I don't buy this commercialised scripted fucking nonsense trying to speak for all blues. Some script written by some City PR guy doesn't speak for me and certainly can't speak for all blues. I don't even think that quote speaks for most of us. Were we loyal because we thought in the end it would pay off, or were we loyal, because, like many other fans up and down the country who follow their team week in and week out who live with no hope of trophy glory, especially in the lower leagues, following your team means more than trophies? Before 2007, I was well aware of the reality that I may never live to see us win a trophy but it didn't deflect my passion in anyway.
I normally wouldn't be saying this as I'm pretty live-and-let-live but amongst the club replacing actual flags with digital flags and thus trying to assert pre-approval control over them, surveys being emailed to me trying to profile me to the point where they want to know when I last took a piss, this sort of shit is beginning to fucking rankle. As far I'm concerned, they need to back off and let fans be fans without trying to speak for us or down to us, control us or profile us to a greater degree than the US government profiles Assange and Snowden.
